About The NDDC Scholarship
As part of their Human Resource Development initiatives, NDDC is launching a Post-Graduate Foreign Scholarship Program to provide Niger Deltans with the necessary training and skills to effectively participate in the current Administration’s Local Content program and compete globally in a variety of fields.
Applicants must have a suitable Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university to be eligible for the Scheme.

The Niger Delta states of Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers are eligible for the NDDC Foreign Scholarship.

Eligibility and Requirments for NDDC Scholarship 2021 For Post-Graduate Studies – Overseas
==>Applicants must meet the following conditions in order to be considered for this NDDC scholarship:
==>For those intending to pursue a Master’s Degree program, a first degree with a least of 2nd Class Lower Division is required, as is a suitable Master’s Degree for PhD applicants from a recognized university.
==>Applicants must have been accepted into a postgraduate program at a foreign university in one of the disciplines indicated above.
==>Applicants who have already begun their studies in an overseas university are ineligible to apply.
==>Guarantor’s written assurance of the applicant’s good behavior from any of the following members of the applicant’s community/clan.
a) Member of the National Assembly/State Legislature
b) First Class Traditional Ruler of the LGA Chairman
c) Judge of the Supreme Court
==>The prize will not be given to anyone who has evidence of cult membership or a criminal record.
==>Applicants must have fulfilled the National Youth Service requirement (NYSC).
==>Students must meet the requirements of the institution they are applying to.

How to Apply for NDDC Scholarship 2021 For Post-Graduate Studies
- The application must be submitted online with the following attachments to the Commission’s website:
- A passport photo taken recently should be provided
- Letter of identity from the local government.
- Admission letter to a recognized Overseas University as a Post Graduate (PG).
- Degrees from a reputable university that are relevant.
- Certificate of Discharge/Exemption from the New York State Police.
- A registration number will be provided to the correctly submitted application form automatically.
- For convenience, print a hard copy of the online-generated acknowledgment.
The names of all applicants who have been shortlisted will be published on the NDDC website.
