IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
I) Because the BEA countries are non-English speaking, applicants must be willing to take a mandatory one-year foreign language course in the country of choice, which will be the standard medium of instruction;
ii) Japan applicants must have a strong background in further mathematics;
iii) The required certificates for candidates applying for Iman Preachers and Quranic Professor for Islamic Religious studies in Algeria are WAEC, as in other scholarship awars.
vi) Fill out the online application form, print the completed form, and bring it to the interview venue in addition to 2.0 above.
Level/Field of Study:

The bilateral Scholarships are open to students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in both countries. Awarded scholarships are those that are related to the following disciplines of study:
a) Undergraduate level – Engineering, Geology, Agriculture and Sciences;
b) Postgraduate level – Mathematical Sciences, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law and Social Sciences;
c) Sciences, biotechnology, architecture, medicine, and other related fields
All subjects of study are available at the postgraduate level (Masters Degree and Ph.D.).
Host Nationality:
The bilateral scholarship must be applied in one of the following countries:
1) Undergraduate (UG) studies are available in Russia, Morocco, Algeria, Serbia, Hungary, Egypt, Turkey, Cuba, Romania, Ukraine, Japan, and Macedonia; and
2) Postgraduate (PG) studies are available in Russia (for those with Russian first degrees), China, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and other countries.
Eligible Nationality:
Time needed: 25 minutes.
For this BEA grant scholarship, candidates must submit two sets of application forms, each with two sets of the accompanying attachments, to the various JAMB CBT centers:
==> For verification, two sets of photocopies of educational certificates and testimonials from previous schools attended, together with the originals.
==>For undergraduate applicants, just one credential is accepted: the May/June WAEC.
==>Two copies of the National Population Commission’s Birth Certificate;
==>A signed, stamped, and date-stamped certificate from the country of origin or LGA
==>At least four (4) passport-size colorful photos with a white backdrop; and
==>Transcripts of academic work and NYSC discharge or exemption certificates will be required exclusively from postgraduate applicants in the future.
