In my opinion, you would agree that illiteracy has always been a problem in Nigeria, mainly to the inability of parents to pay for their children’s educational expenses. Making college tuition payments on one’s own is tough for even the most mature students.
In order to assist Nigerian undergraduate, master’s, and doctorate students in overcoming this challenge, the Federal Government of Nigeria provides Federal Government Scholarships.
In this post, we’ll go over all you need to know about the Federal Government Scholarship, including eligibility conditions and application procedures. As a result, before applying for the Scholarship, make sure you thoroughly read the application.
What is the aim of the Federal Government Scholarship Award For Nigerian Students?
To ensure that all scholarship programs, exchange programs, bilateral exchange agreement scholarship awards, embassy scholarships, and other scholarship opportunities for Nigerian students are properly supervised, the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) was established by the federal ministry of education.
Nigerian students studying abroad can apply for a Federal Government Scholarship through the Federal Government Scholarship Board, which verifies their eligibility for the program.
The Federal Scholarship Board chooses Nigerian students who are qualified to study at a wide range of institutions around the world.
They are the ones who draft the laws governing the distribution of scholarships in Nigeria. The Nigerian Ministry of Education has agreed to this.
Nigerian academic institutions will continue to offer Federal Government scholarships through 2021.
Applicants must be qualified Nigerian students enrolled in Nigerian public tertiary institutions who wish to participate in the 2021 selection interviews for scholarship awards tenable in Nigerian tertiary schools. The Federal Ministry of Education offers Federal Government Scholarships to such students.
