 Farewell to Monica Ntege Uganda Christian University (UCU)’s long serving librarian, Ntege has served the University for 33 years as a librarian.

Ms. Ntege joined Bishop Tucker Theological College as a Librarian on June 1, 1988, until her retirement in 2021.

According to the source, Monica will be replaced by her former deputy David Bukenya. This was revealed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Rev. Dr. John Kitayimbwa, during a speech he gave at a farewell party for the retiree, held on April 26.

The party was held at the Learning Commons inside the Hamu Mukasa building.

“One of the great things Monica has done is to train people. She has groomed an able person. Mr. David Bukenya is going to serve as the acting University Librarian,”

““Thank you so much for working with us in the library. I know we have had several challenges but we thank God that the administration, just like where I came from, has been our pillar,”
